In Exodus 24:9-10 Aaron (and 70 Elders) saw God! A short time later, he made the golden calf idol (Exodus 32:4) and proclaimed it to be the god who delivered the Israelites. How could Aaron (and the 70 Elders) do that or even allow that to happen?
