Facility Use Policy

The Facility Use Policy at Pahrump Community Church (PCC) establishes rules for the use of PCC buildings and grounds. The Deacon Board is responsible for overseeing facility use, and users are required to return the facilities to their proper order and provide supervision during their use. Approval criteria include evaluating the nature and alignment of the requesting group with the church’s mission and doctrinal statement. Certain guidelines and restrictions apply, such as no alcoholic beverages, tobacco, gambling, firearms, or dancing on the premises. A fee schedule is provided based on priority groups, and a deposit may be required for certain groups to cover incidental damage.

Ministry Purchase Approval Procedure

Missions Policy

The Missions Policy of Pahrump Community Church defines missions as any ministry aimed at fulfilling the Great Commission by proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ through evangelism, discipleship, church planting, and development. Music Ministry Policy

The Music Ministry Policy consists of a Music Committee responsible for selecting music and overseeing auditions, worship leaders, and special music. The Music Team, consisting of instrumentalists and vocalists, holds weekly practices. Seasonal Choir rehearsals are announced in advance. Participants must demonstrate a vital relationship with God and attend PCC for at least three months. Auditions are required for Music Team positions, but not for choir participation. Practice attendance is expected, and a modest dress code is followed. The policy was last updated on December 2, 2021.

Petty Cash Reimbursement procedure

The petty cash reimbursement procedure is for small cash purchases under $50. To request reimbursement, fill out a form and get approval from the Ministry Leader. The Church Secretary issues receipts for reimbursements and maintains a minimum of $200 in the petty cash box. The box can be used for making change, but sales tax is not reimbursed. Tax-exempt cards can be obtained from the Church Office.

Property Policy

Pahrump Community Church has a policy regarding the usage of church property. All property should remain on the church campus, and after use, it should be returned to its designated location. Requests for property usage that would interfere with scheduled ministries on campus will not be considered. If off-campus usage is requested, a written request must be submitted to the appropriate church leader or office. Approval will be indicated by the leader’s signature, and the borrower assumes liability for any damage or misuse. Violations may result in a suspension of borrowing privileges. Statement oN Marriage, Gender, and Sexuality

Pahrump Community Church Statement on Marriage, Gender, and Sexuality affirms marriage as a union between one man and one woman, based on Biblical teachings. They believe that God created people as male and female, and sexual intimacy should be within the bounds of marriage. Any form of sexual immorality is considered sinful. The church promotes compassion, love, and respect for all individuals, while rejecting hateful behavior. It is expected that all church members and volunteers uphold these beliefs.

Student Teacher Practicum

The Student Teacher Practicum program at Pahrump Community Church is designed to help believers improve their communication skills and teach Biblical truths effectively. Interested individuals must meet certain criteria, including agreement with the church’s doctrinal statement, active participation in the church, and involvement in a Bible study. A detailed presentation plan must be submitted for review before scheduling. The presentations take place in the Multi-Purpose Room and are recorded for online review. Pahrump Community Church Constitution and By-Laws (Amended April 18, 2021)

The Pahrump Community Church, located in Pahrump, Nevada, is an organization dedicated to public worship, spiritual well-being, Christian fellowship, and sharing the Gospel locally and globally. The church holds the Bible as the inspired Word of God and believes in the Triune God—God the Father, God the Son (Jesus Christ), and God the Holy Spirit. It acknowledges Jesus Christ as the divine and human Son of God, whose crucifixion and resurrection provide salvation. The church emphasizes the importance of faith in Jesus Christ, the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, and the principles of love, grace, and good works.
